In 2352, humanity’s fate changed forever with the discovery of Rezium in the Kalin System. This shimmering, azure mineral, found buried in the asteroid belts and moons of a distant star, held an unprecedented power to terraform barren worlds into habitable havens.

Like the Gold Rush of old, the Rezium Rush ignited a frenzy, driving factions and corporations to establish trade lines and defence systems.

Before Rezium, colonizing the harsh terrains of Mars, Io, or Triton was a grueling task. Synths and human laborers toiled in unforgiving conditions, limited by scarce resources and hostile environments.

Rezium’s discovery, uncovered by Zaikov Industries’ deep-space probes following the opening of the ExoGates, revealed a mineral capable of altering planetary atmospheres, creating life-sustaining ecosystems, and accelerating soil regeneration.

Rezium could render a lifeless moon lush with potential, making distant systems like Elixia, Rolos, and Syntara viable for settlement.

The Rezium Rush redefined humanity’s ambitions. The United Stellar Federation, desperate to unify a fractured galaxy, saw Rezium as the key to expanding beyond the Sol System.

Factions like Roqore Offworld, Saryon State, and Zaikov Industries raced to control Kalin’s deposits, their fleets clashing in a chaotic bid for dominance. Miners, scientists, and pioneers flocked to outposts, lured by promises of wealth and a chance to shape new worlds.

But the future of Rezium and its powerful hold over competing factions and alliances is yet to be determined.

Will it unite human civilisations, or tear them apart?
