Over the past few months we’ve been working toward a major milestone for our vertical slice. We’re excited to share that it’s now complete, and we’ve reached our goal of 100 survey completion from members of our early community.
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in the playtest survey. Your feedback has been incredibly valuable as we move into the next stage of development.
Several results stood out. Many respondents told us they regularly play games in the same strategy space as Rezium. Technical performance scored strongly for an early build, and a large percentage of players indicated they would consider backing the project on Kickstarter.
Just as importantly, the survey helped confirm what players are most excited about:
Building and defending a growing interplanetary base network
Managing supply lines and trade routes across multiple systems
Competing with powerful factions for control of Rezium, the rare mineral that enables terraforming
These pillars are exactly what we want to focus on as development continues.

The Next Step: Building the Demo
With the vertical slice complete and feedback in hand, development is now moving towards demo production.
Our goal is to create a focused playable experience that captures the core loop of Rezium: starting with a Martian base, expanding through mining operations and supply routes, and navigating the political tensions between the major factions of the universe.
We are currently targeting Q4 2026 for the demo release, alongside a Kickstarter campaign to support the next stage of development.
A Universe Built With the Community
Rezium has been evolving for many years, with the game sitting at the center of a wider universe that includes novellas, comics, and an expanding body of lore about humanity’s push beyond Earth.
The project is now at the stage where community feedback is helping shape the direction of development. Insights from the survey are guiding how we prioritize systems and refine the gameplay experience.
As we move toward the demo, we’ll be sharing more updates about the Martian base systems, faction dynamics, and the network of star systems connected through the ExoGates.
For now, we simply want to say thank you to everyone who supported the project and took the time to respond to the survey.
Your feedback is helping us shape the future of Rezium. If you haven't already done so, please join our Discord community.
